Automation (Electronics) Manager
About the Role: We are seeking a skilled Automation (Electronics) Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have mid-level experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automation systems with a strong working knowledge of Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC), Variable Frequency Drives (VFD), Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems, and Servo Drives. This role involves working on cutting-edge automation projects to enhance operational efficiency, reliability, and safety in [insert industry, e.g., manufacturing, industrial automation, or process control]. Key Responsibilities: Design, program, and implement automation systems using PLCs, VFDs, SCADA, and Servo Drives to meet project requirements. Troubleshoot and maintain automation systems to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. Develop and configure PLC programs (e.g., Siemens, Allen-Bradley, Mitsubishi) for process control and automation. Integrate VFDs and Servo Drives into automation systems for precise motor control and energy efficiency. Design and deploy SCADA systems for real-time monitoring, data acquisition, and process visualization. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including mechanical engineers, software developers, and project managers, to deliver integrated solutions. Conduct testing, commissioning, and validation of automation systems to ensure compliance with industry standards and specifications. Provide technical support and training to operators and maintenance teams on automation equipment and systems. Document system designs, configurations, and processes for future reference and compliance. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in automation and control systems. Preferred Qualifications: Experience with HMI (Human-Machine Interface) design and configuration. Familiarity with robotics integration or Industry 4.0 technologies (e.g., IoT, IIoT). Certification in PLC programming, SCADA, or related automation technologies. Knowledge of programming languages such as Ladder Logic, Structured Text, or Python for automation applications.
