Murex/Summit QA & Test Automation Specialist

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced

QA/Test Automation Specialist

with expertise in

Summit and Murex systems

to support our migration project from Summit Treasury Management System to Murex. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the

quality, accuracy, and efficiency

of the migration through robust testing, automation, and reconciliation.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and implement System/UAT testing strategy, including test plans, scenarios, and cases based on CMMI standards.
• Perform data reconciliation between Summit and Murex systems and generate comparative reports.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts for testing; document standards, guidelines, and user manuals for scripts.
• Conduct system requirement reviews, production support, and troubleshooting activities.
• Collaborate with business analysts, developers, and application managers to clarify requirements and provide technical inputs for Change Requests.
• Track and report defects in the defect tracking system, and provide regular testing and project status updates.
• Identify risks, implement best practices, and provide guidance/training to team members.
• Collect and analyze quantitative data related to software testing for continuous improvement.
  

Required Skills & Experience

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience: 5+ years in QA, Test, or Development, including 35 years in Summit or Murex systems.
• Strong financial domain knowledge, including investment banking, portfolio accounting systems, and trading applications.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Mercury, QTP, Test Director, WinRunner, or equivalent.
• Excellent collaboration, communication, and documentation skills.
  

Preferred

• Experience in banking/treasury operations or financial instruments processing.
• Knowledge of process improvement, CMMI standards, and KPI-driven QA metrics.
