Job Description

As a Murex Configuration & Environment Management Specialist at our client, a leading private bank in India, you will be a key member of the team responsible for the successful upgrade of Murex software from version v3.1.38 to v3.1.6x. Your expertise and contribution will play a crucial role in the overall success of this project. **Key Responsibilities:** - Deploy and manage Murex Software required for Murex client's projects using Murex tools and scripts - Conduct Environment deployment and Management Operations - Perform basic smoke tests before delivering the necessary products and provide first-level support for deployed Murex products - Utilize Murex configuration management tools for import/export of configuration items and analysis of related issues - Apply configuration management methodologies and perform database sanitization and purging procedures **Qualifications Required:** - 8-10 years of relevant experience in Murex configuration & environment management - Proficiency in Scripting (Perl, awk), SQL, Unix XML, RDMS Operation - Experience in setting up Murex environments from scratch and expertise in Environment Management activities - Good understanding of Murex architecture, functionality, and exposure to executing Murex Binary Upgrades - Familiarity with various Murex settings, Parameters, and configurations - Ability to ensure organizational requirements are met as per SL specifications and completed within set timelines - Experience in business requirements analysis & specifications writing, configuration, testing, validation, and user assistance **Nice to have:** - Past experience in Murex Binary upgrade projects This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a dynamic project team at a prestigious private bank in Mumbai, India.
