Role & responsibilities Understand end-to-end development of new features and modules across Mummys Markets websites, mobile APIs, and internal tools. Design, implement, and maintain scalable backend systems, databases, and RESTful APIs. Optimize and enhance existing e-commerce platforms to improve performance, security, and user experience. Integrate third-party systems such as payment gateways, CRM, ERP, and marketing platforms with internal solutions. Monitor and manage AWS infrastructure (EC2, RDS, S3, CloudFront, CloudWatch), ensuring proactive resolution of server or performance issues. Build and maintain automation workflows using AI-powered tools (e.g., Make.com/Integromat, n8n, Zapier, or similar) to streamline business processes. Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes into responsive, high-quality user interfaces . Conduct code reviews, testing, and debugging to uphold quality and reliability standards. Oversee deployments, version control (Git), and CI/CD pipelines for efficient delivery cycles. Implement data integrity, backup, and recovery strategies for mission-critical systems. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers and interns. Contribute to architecture decisions to ensure scalability for product SKUs, vendors, and customers. Stay up to date with emerging web technologies and recommend adoption of best practices. Preferred candidate profile Degree or Diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Fresh graduates or candidates with 1+ years of experience in web application development are welcome. Strong proficiency in PHP frameworks (CodeIgniter, Laravel) and CMS platforms (Joomla, Drupal, Magento, or similar). Solid knowledge of frontend technologies : HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap. Familiarity with modern frameworks such as Python, React, Vue.js, or React Native is an added advantage. Hands-on experience in MySQL or MariaDB database design, management, and optimization. Experience integrating RESTful APIs into mobile or web applications. Proven expertise in managing cloud infrastructure , particularly AWS services (EC2, RDS, S3, CloudFront, Route 53, CloudWatch). Bonus: Practical experience with AI and workflow automation tools (e.g., Make.com/Integromat, n8n, Zapier, or similar).
