Multimedia Faculty

Job Summary:

The Multimedia Faculty is responsible for instructing students in various multimedia disciplines including graphic design, video production, animation, web design, interactive media, and digital storytelling. The role involves developing course materials, assessing student progress, and staying updated with industry trends and technologies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Teaching and Instruction:
• Deliver lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on workshops.
• Teach software tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Final Cut Pro, Blender, Unity, etc.
• Guide students through practical assignments and projects.
• Curriculum Development:
• Design and update course syllabi and lesson plans.
• Incorporate emerging trends like AR/VR, AI in media, UI/UX, and mobile media into the curriculum.
• Student Mentorship:
• Advise students on academic and career goals.
• Supervise student projects, internships, and portfolios.
• Assessment and Evaluation:
• Evaluate student work through assignments, presentations, and exams.
• Provide constructive feedback to help students improve creatively and technically.
• Professional Development and Research:
• Engage in scholarly or creative research and participate in exhibitions, conferences, or publications.
• Stay current with industry advancements and integrate them into teaching.
• Administrative and Institutional Duties:
• Participate in faculty meetings, committees, and accreditation activities.
• Contribute to departmental planning and outreach initiatives.

Qualifications:

• Education: Master’s degree or higher in Multimedia, Digital Media, Communication Design, or a related field. Industry certifications are a plus.
• Experience: Prior teaching experience preferred; professional experience in multimedia or related industries is essential.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in multimedia tools and platforms.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to inspire and engage students from diverse backgrounds.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹30,000.00 per month
