Role & responsibilities Key responsibilities Production planning and scheduling : Develop and implement production plans and schedules to meet company objectives. Staff management : Supervise production staff, assign tasks, and ensure they receive appropriate training. Process optimization : Monitor production processes to identify areas for improvement, increase efficiency, and reduce costs. Quality control : Ensure that quality control standards are met throughout the production process and address any quality-related issues. Equipment maintenance : Conduct regular inspections of machinery and coordinate with maintenance staff for repairs and servicing. Inventory and supply chain : Manage inventory levels and coordinate with the supply chain to ensure a steady flow of necessary materials. Safety and compliance : Enforce safety protocols and ensure the production area operates in a safe manner. Preferred candidate profile Experience in a similar production or supervisory role. Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage time effectively and solve problems efficiently. Experience with manufacturing machinery and tools. A results-driven and self-motivated approach. Technical knowledge of the specific production industry is often required.
