Pharmacy Assistant – Job Description Position: Pharmacy Assistant Location: Mufaddal PolyClinic, Royapuram Reporting To: Pharmacist / Clinic Manager **Key Responsibilities Assist the pharmacist in dispensing medicines accurately. Maintain proper stock records , update inventory, and inform management about low-stock items. Ensure all medicines are arranged, labeled, and stored properly. Handle billing, cash, and UPI payments for pharmacy sales. Guide patients politely about medicine dosage , as instructed by the doctor or pharmacist. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the pharmacy area. Support in receiving, checking, and verifying new stock deliveries. Coordinate with clinic reception for daily reports and stock movement. Ensure expiry check of all medicines and remove expired items as per protocol. Assist with basic pharmacy documentation and compliance as required. Skills & Requirements Minimum qualification: 12th pass (Diploma in Pharmacy preferred but not mandatory). Basic knowledge of medicines, dosage forms, and OTC products . Good communication skills and polite behaviour with patients. Ability to work with billing software (training will be provided). Honest, responsible, and able to handle pharmacy cash carefully. Working Hours: As per clinic shift (Morning/Evening) Salary: Based on experience and performance Job Type: Part-time Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
