MST ( Electrical, Plumbing)

Key Responsibilities of an MST in a School:

• Electrical and Plumbing Maintenance: Troubleshooting and repairing electrical wiring, fixtures, plumbing systems, and drainage.
• HVAC Systems: Basic maintenance and troubleshooting of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
• Facility Upkeep: Addressing general maintenance issues like fixing doors, windows, and furniture.
• Preventive Maintenance: Conducting regular checks and maintenance to prevent potential issues and ensure safety.
• Sourcing Parts: Locating and ordering replacement parts for repairs.
• Reporting and Documentation: Writing reports on maintenance activities and safety procedures.
• Coordination: Working with other technicians or contractors for larger projects or specialized repairs.
• Following Safety Procedures: Adhering to safety guidelines and regulations when working with electrical and mechanical systems.
• Responding to Emergencies: Addressing urgent maintenance issues that may arise during school hours.
