Qualifications and Requirements

MSc Degree: A Master of Science in Nursing is the primary academic qualification.
Specialization: Lecturers typically specialize in a specific area of nursing, such as Medical-Surgical Nursing, Pediatric Nursing, Obstetrics & Gynaecological Nursing, or Community Health Nursing.
Experience: For private colleges, a B.Sc. or M.Sc. Nursing qualification and some teaching experience can be sufficient, while government institutions often require more experience and sometimes a Ph.D. for higher positions
