Position: Personal Driver Location: Sector 119, Noida Employment Type: Full-Time 1. Role Overview The Personal Driver will be responsible for providing safe, punctual, and efficient transportation for the employer and family members. The driver must adhere strictly to all Indian traffic laws, government-mandated driving standards, and maintain high levels of personal conduct, courtesy, and confidentiality. 2. Key Responsibilities A. Driving & TransportationSafely drive the employer and family members to all assigned destinations. Maintain strict adherence to Motor Vehicle Act, Central Motor Vehicles Rules, and all government-mandated traffic regulations. Ensure zero violation of traffic rules including overspeeding, improper parking, wrong-side driving, and mobile usage while driving. Follow the most efficient routes using maps while ensuring passenger comfort. B. Vehicle Maintenance Conduct daily inspection of the vehicle: fuel level, air pressure, engine oil, coolant, brake fluid, and basic electricals. Ensure the vehicle is clean (interior & exterior) at all times. Keep the vehicle serviced and maintained as per manufacturer & government guidelines. Immediately report any mechanical issues, damages, or repair needs. C. Safety & Compliance Hold a valid and active LMV Driving Licence (as per Govt. norms) with no history of major violations. Follow all safety protocols, including wearing seat belts, maintaining speed limits, and observing road signs. Ensure safe boarding/exiting assistance for the employer whenever required. Maintain updated knowledge of traffic rules, pollution norms, and vehicle-related regulations. D. Conduct & Professionalism Maintain punctuality and be available as per employer’s schedule. Exhibit polite, respectful, and professional behavior at all times. Maintain strict confidentiality of employer’s personal and professional activities. Dress neatly in proper uniform/attire as prescribed. Avoid smoking, drinking, or consuming intoxicants during duty hours. E. Log & Records Management Maintain record of daily travel, fuel consumption, toll receipts, and parking slips. Track vehicle service due dates, insurance renewals, PUC certification, and other mandatory documents. 3. Required Qualifications & Skills Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a personal or corporate driver. Valid LMV Driving Licence with clean driving record. Good knowledge of local routes, traffic patterns, and alternate roads. Ability to handle long-distance and late-evening driving if required. Basic mechanical knowledge for handling minor vehicle issues. Strong sense of discipline, patience, and responsibility. 4. Working Hours As per employer’s requirement; flexibility for early mornings, evenings, and occasional outstation travel. 5. Additional Government Standards to be Followed Compliance with Central Motor Vehicles Rules (CMVR). Valid PUC certificate & adherence to pollution norms. No using phone while driving (100% mandatory). No alcohol level permitted as per Sec. 185 of Motor Vehicles Act. Mandatory carrying of vehicle documents: RC, Licence, Insurance, PUC. 7. Compulsory Police Verification Requirement The employee must submit a Police Verification Certificate (PVC) issued by the local police authorities within 15 days of joining. Employment will be considered provisional until successful verification is completed. Any adverse findings in the police report, including past criminal records, pending cases, or discrepancies in identity, will result in immediate termination without notice. The employee must provide accurate personal details and documents required for the police verification process. Failure to submit the police verification certificate within the stipulated period may lead to suspension or cancellation of employment.
