MS SQL Database Expert

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled MS SQL Database Expert to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with T-SQL programming, performance tuning, and advanced database management on Microsoft SQL Server. You will play a key role in supporting development teams, optimizing database performance, and ensuring data security and integrity.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support software developers by optimizing complex SQL queries, tuning DML operations, and developing stored procedures.
• Design and develop high-quality database solutions using T-SQL.
• Create and implement robust procedures and functions to support business logic and application needs.
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and improve existing SQL queries and database structures for optimal performance.
• Collaborate closely with developers, architects, and stakeholders to align database development with project goals.
• Monitor and maintain database systems, resolving issues as they arise.
• Ensure data integrity and security by managing database roles, permissions, and access control.
• Develop and implement strategies for database backups, restorations, migrations, and replications.
• Manage database constraints, indexes, and normalization for performance and scalability.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 4–8 years of experience as an SQL Developer or in a similar database-focused role.
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft SQL Server and T-SQL programming.
• Proven experience in writing optimized queries, stored procedures, and functions.
• Experience with performance tuning and query optimization techniques.
• Solid understanding of database security, roles, and permission management.
• Experience with backup/recovery strategies and replication setups.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to Have:

• Experience working with large datasets and high-availability environments.
• Familiarity with Azure SQL or cloud-based database systems.
• Exposure to Agile development methodologies.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From ₹600,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• Day shift
• Fixed shift
• Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Panchkula, Haryana: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
