Key Responsibilities - Beverage Preparation & Service - Craft espresso-based drinks with consistency and precision - Dial in grinders and espresso shots daily to match roast profiles - Follow recipes and SOPs for all beverages and maintain quality in high-volume hours Customer Experience & Hospitality - Create a warm, welcoming environment for every guest - Educate customers about our coffees, origins, and brewing methods - Handle feedback with professionalism and a service-first mindset Equipment Handling & Maintenance - Maintain espresso machines, grinders, and brewing tools - Clean workstations regularly and perform end-of-day shutdown protocol - Assist in basic troubleshooting and flag technical issues promptly Product Knowledge & Storytelling - Learn the story behind each coffee we roast—origin, process, roast style - Help communicate the brand’s passion for specialty coffee and cookies - Engage with walk-in customers and educate them on retail products Collaboration & Support - Work closely with the roastery team to align on flavor expression and brewing need - Support team members during rush hours and maintain smooth bar operations - Assist in packaging, retail display, and inventory management Perks - Free specialty coffee and cookies (non-negotiable) - Training in specialty coffee standards and customer interaction - Growth opportunities into roles such as Senior Barista, Trainer, or Roastery Assistant
