Location: Ghaziabad / Delhi-NCR Department: Production & Assembly Industry: Special Purpose Machines (SPM) / Machinery Manufacturing Job SummaryWe are looking for an experienced and skilled ITI Fitter to join our Machine Assembly team. The candidate will be responsible for mechanical assembly, fitting, alignment, and installation of parts and components for Special Purpose Machines as per engineering drawings and instructions. Key ResponsibilitiesPerform assembly, fitting, and installation of machine components. Read and interpret engineering drawings, assembly sketches, and work instructions. Ensure proper alignment, adjustments, drilling, tapping, and minor fabrication work. Conduct fitting operations using tools like vernier calipers, micrometers, drilling machines, grinders, etc. Carry out inspection of assembled parts to maintain dimensional accuracy and quality standards. Coordinate with the mechanical and design team to resolve assembly issues. Perform minor modifications at shop floor as required. Ensure timely assembly according to production schedules. Maintain tools, equipment, and shop floor safety standards. Support machine trials, testing, and commissioning when required. Required Skills & CompetenciesStrong mechanical fitting and assembly skills Ability to read 2D drawings and mechanical sketches Knowledge of machine shop tools and instruments Hands-on experience in industrial machine assembly preferred Strong problem-solving ability and work discipline Ability to work independently as well as in a team Basic understanding of industrial safety rules Qualification & ExperienceITI – Fitter (Mandatory) 1–5 years of experience in: Machine assembly SPM / Automation / Industrial machinery (preferred) Work Environment Factory-based role Reporting to Production/Assembly Supervisor Coordination with Design, Production, and Quality teams Salary As per industry standards and candidate experience
