Job Smmary We are seeking an experienced and proactive HR Manager to lead the human resources function at our semiconductor manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will be responsible for end-to-end HR operations, including policy formulation, recruitment, statutory compliance, payroll, employee lifecycle management, and engagement initiatives. Proficiency in Kannada is essential for effective communication with staff across levels. Role & responsibilities HR Policy & Compliance Formulate, review, and implement HR policies in line with organizational goals and industry best practices. Ensure full compliance with labor laws and statutory requirements (PF, ESI, PT, Shops & Establishment Act, etc.). Coordinate with consultants and government bodies for audits, inspections, and compliance updates. Recruitment & Onboarding Lead talent acquisition for technical and non-technical roles. Design and execute recruitment strategies to attract skilled candidates. Manage onboarding, documentation, and induction programs. Payroll & HR Operations Oversee accurate and timely payroll processing. Maintain employee records and handle HRMS-related tasks. Manage attendance, leave, and other time office activities. Employee Lifecycle Management Handle the complete employee lifecycle: onboarding, confirmation, appraisal cycles, transfers, exits, etc. Manage grievance redressal and conflict resolution effectively. Employee Engagement & Culture Building Plan and implement employee engagement programs, cultural events, welfare activities, and retention initiatives. Conduct regular communication and feedback sessions with employees. Communication & Language Skills Must be proficient in Kannada to effectively interact with local workforce and management. Strong written and verbal communication in English is also essential. Preferred candidate profile MBA/PGDM in HR or equivalent from a reputed institute. 58 years of relevant HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or semiconductor environment. Strong understanding of Indian labor laws and statutory compliance. Hands-on experience with payroll software and HRMS platforms. People-oriented, approachable, and strong interpersonal skills. Proficiency in Kannada is mandatory. Preferred Attributes : Experience in handling blue-collar and white-collar workforce. Strong organizational and leadership abilities. Ability to work independently and in cross-functional teams.
