The Role The Business Development Executive will be the key driver for new business acquisition in Gurugram, Haryana. This role requires a professional with a strong understanding of the construction materials market, particularly granite and marble products, and a proven ability to forge strong relationships with key industry stakeholders. The primary focus is generating new revenue streams and meeting ambitious sales targets. Key Responsibilities 1. Business Generation & Sales (80% Focus) * New Client Acquisition: Proactively identify, research, and target potential clients, including large construction companies, real estate developers/builders, architects, interior designers, and large format retailers/dealers in the Gurugram region. * Direct Sales: Conduct product presentations and site visits to demonstrate the features, benefits, and quality of Aryan Tiles' granite tiles, slabs, and door frames. * Pipeline Management: Manage the entire sales cycle from lead generation and initial contact to negotiation, contract closure, and follow-up. * Target Achievement: Meet and exceed assigned monthly, quarterly, and annual sales and new business development targets. * Quotation & Tendering: Prepare detailed, accurate, and professional product quotations and participate in tender processes as required. 2. Market & Relationship Management * Market Intelligence: Continuously monitor market trends, competitor activities, pricing strategies, and construction projects in Gurugram to identify new opportunities. * Stakeholder Relations: Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with decision-makers, purchasing managers, project managers, and key influencers within target organizations. * Networking: Represent Aryan Tiles at industry events, trade shows, and networking meetings to promote the brand and expand the professional network. 3. Reporting & Strategy * Reporting: Provide regular, accurate reports on sales activities, pipeline status, forecasted sales, and client feedback to the management team. * Strategy: Collaborate with the Head of Sales to refine local market entry and business development strategies specifically for the Gurugram territory. Required Qualifications & Experience * Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. * Experience: 2-5 years of progressive sales/business development experience, specifically within the building materials, construction, or architectural products industry. * Product Knowledge: Prior experience and established contacts in selling granite, marble, natural stone, or similar high-end construction finishes is highly preferred. * Location Expertise: Deep understanding of the Gurugram, Haryana construction and real estate landscape. Skills & Competencies * Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills (English and Hindi fluency is essential). * Results-Oriented: A strong commitment to achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth. * Self-Motivated: Ability to work independently, manage a territory effectively, and prioritize tasks. * Professional Appearance & Demeanor: Capable of representing a premium brand to high-level clients. * Mobility: Must possess a valid driver's license and reliable transportation to navigate the Gurugram region for client meetings.
