Job Description

Operate
MRI and CT scanners
to obtain clear, diagnostic-quality images.
Follow established
scan protocols
and adjust imaging parameters as required.
Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
Administer
contrast agents
as prescribed and monitor patients for adverse reactions.
Maintain strict compliance with
radiation safety
and
MRI safety guidelines
.
Review and verify physician orders for accuracy before conducting scans.
Perform
image post-processing
including 3D reconstructions when required.
Upload, store, and manage images using
PACS
and RIS systems.
Maintain accurate patient records, procedure logs, and documentation.
Inspect and maintain equipment, reporting malfunctions promptly.
Collaborate with radiologists to review images and discuss findings.
Educate patients and families about procedures, preparation, and aftercare.
