The ideal candidate must have sound knowledge of medical recordkeeping standards, hospital documentation processes, and regulatory compliance (NABH/NABL). Qualification Qualification: Bachelor's or Diploma in Health Information Management / Medical Records. Experience: Minimum 2 years in MRD operations in a hospital setting (NABH-accredited preferred) Knowledge of: EHR/HIS software, NABH standards, medical terminology.) Key Responsibilities: Supervise and manage the day-to-day operations of the MRD. Ensure proper filing, storage, retrieval, and confidentiality of patient records. Maintain digital and physical patient files in compliance with NABH and legal standards. Coordinate with clinical and administrative teams for timely medical documentation. Prepare statistical reports and data for audits, claims, and quality control. Oversee timely discharge summaries and medical coding practices. Respond to internal and external record access requests. Train and manage MRD staff on processes and standards. Support medico-legal documentation and records for insurance or court use. Required Skills: Excellent organizational and recordkeeping skills. Strong understanding of hospital documentation protocols. Ability to manage sensitive patient data with confidentiality. Proficiency in hospital information systems (HIS) and electronic medical records. Good communication and coordination skills. Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail.
