This is an excellent opportunity for you to bring your outstanding talents to a dynamic team that develops solutions in Cisco's routing and cloud technologies for the largest web scalers and service providers worldwide. You will have the chance to support some of the world's largest Web scaler and Service Provider networks, work with Product management, Sales and Marketing teams on pro-active customer engagements, and engage with engineering architects and technical subject matter experts in product development. As an engineer in this team, you will actively engage with all teams across Cisco to leverage solutions, provide critical engineering support for very large-scale customer deployments, and drive towards technical excellence. You will be responsible for resolving critical customer escalations in Cisco's Routing portfolio, providing expert support for technical and operational issues, and utilizing your analytical skills and expert technical knowledge to solve complex product and network problems. Minimum Qualifications: - Bachelors in STEM with 6 or more years of experience in network engineering - Demonstrated experience with protocols such as BGP, OSPF, ISIS, IPv4, IPv6, MPLS, L2/L3VPN, RSVP, and Multicast - Experience with real-time operating systems like IOS-XR, IOS-XE, SONiC - Proficiency in Linux and open-source technologies - Experience with large scale routing and switching architectures - Demonstrated experience troubleshooting networking issues in live customer environments Preferred Qualifications: - CCIE routing or CCIE Service Provider certification desired - Experience with SONiC NOS - Familiarity with internal Cisco organization and eco-system - Masters Degree in STEM - Practical knowledge and experience with IOS XR based platform architectures - Experience with Artificial Intelligence concepts and applications Join us at Cisco, where every individual's unique skills and perspectives come together to power an inclusive future for all.
