As the Service Manager for the BMW Motorrad bike segment based in Raipur, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the service operations, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maximizing profitability in alignment with BMW Motorrad's global standards. Your primary responsibilities will include managing the service department, leading a team of technicians and service advisors, maintaining service quality, and adhering to OEM guidelines. Your key duties will involve supervising the daily service operations for BMW Motorrad bikes, ensuring timely and high-quality service delivery, monitoring workshop productivity, and implementing BMW Motorrad standard operating procedures. You will also handle customer escalations, conduct training sessions for staff, coordinate with the Parts Department, and maintain effective communication with the BMW Motorrad regional office. To excel in this role, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Automobile Engineering or a related field, possess at least 5-8 years of experience in a similar role within premium motorcycle or automotive brands, and demonstrate expertise in motorcycle service operations, diagnostics, and workshop management. Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills are essential, along with familiarity with Dealer Management Systems (DMS) and CRM tools. While certification from BMW Motorrad is preferred, it is not mandatory. Key competencies for success in this position include technical proficiency in motorcycle mechanics and diagnostics, a customer-centric approach, effective team leadership, problem-solving abilities, process orientation, and performance management skills. Previous experience with high-end motorcycle brands and exposure to international service standards will be advantageous.
