How You Will Fulfill Your Potential Build pre-trade workflow and trade execution platforms for salespeople and traders, covering various asset classes across both voice and electronic venues Propose, design, and implement software solutions to build scalable and reliable services and platforms using cutting-edge web server-side technologies Defined and determine new strategic solutions alongside sales, traders and other engineers Skills Experience We Are Looking For This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing team leveraging cutting edge technology to transform the way we conduct business and to deliver the most complex transactions for our clients. The role will be suited to a strong technologist with a keen interest in business workflows and financial markets. Basic Qualifications 1+ years of software development experience which must include leading software developers. (ONLY FOR VPs) Bachelor s or masters degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field Strong technical, analytical and problem-solving skills Strong programming skills in Java or web developer (React, TypeScript, etc). Experience in software development, including a clear understanding of data structures, algorithms, software design and core programming concepts Excellent verbal/written communication skills and ability to work across teams Experience with leading software engineers in a project setting. (ONLY FOR VPs) Ability to work in a fast paced environment whilst maintaining strong attention to detail Highly motivated with a strong sense of ownership and desire for impact Preferred Qualifications Previous commercial experience in a business-facing, front office engineering role in the finance industry, building trading platforms Knowledge of financial markets with experience in products such as Mortgage backed securities, bonds, CDS, indices or index options
