Job Description

Description

We are looking for a highly skilled Mongo or OpenSearch DBA to join our team. The ideal candidate will have 8-12 years of experience and possess the necessary hard skills to manage and maintain our databases.

Responsibilities

Design, install, configure and maintain Mongo or OpenSearch databases
Ensure the databases are secure, highly available and performant
Monitor database performance and provide recommendations for improvement
Manage backups and disaster recovery processes
Collaborate with development teams to optimize database performance for applications
Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues
Implement and maintain database security policies and procedures
Create and maintain documentation related to database architecture and processes
Stay up-to-date with emerging database technologies and trends

Skills and Qualifications

8-12 years of experience as a Mongo or OpenSearch DBA
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field
Strong understanding of database architecture and design principles
Experience with database installation, configuration and maintenance
Experience with database security and disaster recovery
Experience with performance tuning and optimization
Excellent troubleshooting skills
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Certifications in Mongo or OpenSearch are preferred
