Role Objective: Responsible for Operational and delivery targets, procurement of parts, supplies and services at the best price and quality, inventory management, supporting project deliverables, maintaining costings, timelines and pricing and, working to agreed business plans and strategy. Key Responsibilities: Work with the sales, production and engineering team to ensure production is supplied with the correct materials at the right time to meet company’s production schedule whilst holding minimum levels of stock. · Support production deliverables by and manage schedules · Support spare parts sales by ensuring quick turnaround of goods and information to the spares co-ordinator. · Develop and maintain supplier relationships in-line with company’s procurement needs from time to time. Ensure supplier compliance on technical specification and other critical data. Monitor, measure and report on supplier issues and opportunities. · Manage project/production plans, liaising with all necessary departments and agree on delivery targets. · Negotiate favourable payment terms, pricing and discount structures with suppliers · Calculate and manage stock levels in stores at optimal levels to reduce obsolescence. · Liase with the engineering team to select suppliers with the best value combination of technical expertise, quality, price and service. · Arrange shipment of equipment, including obtaining quotes, booking collections, preparing documentation. · Prepare invoices for spares, service jobs, and equipment sales as and when required. · Provide price, availability and delivery information promptly and efficiently, to internal customers, for example the Spares Controller. · Extensively use the MRP system for purchase, inventory, item master and BOMs · Provide full cover for any purchase staff and/or spares coordinator during holiday or any other absence. · Provide cover for stores functions, including picking spares orders and booking in deliveries, during holiday or other absence. · Order and maintain relevant office and shop floor supplies. · Maintain timesheets for purchase staff. Experience and Skills required: Experience in man and material management. · Experience in manufacture of industrial Food processing equipment, preferred. · Strong IT skills (MS Excel, MRP systems, MS Project) · Experience with SAP Business One ERP software is a plus. · Ability to effectively read and communicate engineering drawings and technical specifications. · Safety at work understanding · A team player, able to motivate staff · Excellent communication and negotiation skills Education Qualifications: Mechanical or electrical engineering preferred. Full driver's license needed. Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹75,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
