Job Title: Preschool and Daycare TeacherLocation: Daisy Montessori, near Manyata Tech Park Gate#5, Rachenahalli, Bangalore Employment Type: Full-time About Daisy Montessori: Daisy Montessori is a nurturing preschool and daycare that follows Montessori principles to provide a joyful, safe, and stimulating environment where children explore, learn, and grow. We believe in holistic development through hands-on learning, creativity, and emotional care. Job Role: The Preschool and Daycare Teacher will be responsible for creating a warm, engaging, and developmentally appropriate learning environment for children aged 1.5 to 6 years. The teacher will facilitate learning through play, Montessori materials, creative activities, and care routines. Teacher will be also responsible for evening tuition for 4 years to 10 years old kids. Key Responsibilities: 1. Classroom Management and Teaching Plan and conduct daily activities based on Montessori and early childhood education principles Create a joyful, engaging classroom atmosphere that fosters curiosity and independence. Observe each child’s progress and maintain records of growth, behavior, and development. Ensure classroom materials are well-organized, clean, and developmentally appropriate. 2. Child Care and Supervision Ensure the safety, hygiene, and well-being of children throughout the day. Support children in eating, toileting, dressing, and resting routines with care and patience. Encourage positive social interactions, empathy, and confidence among children. 3. Communication and Collaboration Build positive relationships with parents through regular communication and feedback. Collaborate with other teachers and support staff to plan events, activities, and celebrations. Attend staff meetings, training sessions, and parent-teacher interactions. 4. Documentation and Reporting - Maintain daily records of attendance, activities, meals, and observations. Provide periodic progress reports and feedback on each child’s development. Qualifications and Skills: Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Early Childhood Education / Montessori Training preferred. Minimum 1–2 years of experience in preschool or daycare teaching. Excellent communication skills in English (spoken and written). Warm, patient, and empathetic personality with genuine love for children. Ability to plan creative activities and manage a classroom with enthusiasm. Team player with good organizational and observation skills.
