Description
As a Software Engineer, your expertise lies in programming in JavaScript, implementing software engineering best practices in design, development, and utilizing APIs in cloud platforms. Your passion for hands-on coding ensures that quality is always a top priority, delivering exceptional experiences to App Developers and Customers, while driving efficiency through the creation of extendable and reusable service components. You will be responsible for ensuring the robustness and ease of maintenance of components and the overall application. Additionally, you must be willing to take on any necessary tasks to ensure the success of the project, always ready to quickly learn new technologies and deliver results. Educational & Required Qualifications: - 6+ years of overall industry experience - 4+ years of experience in building data workflows and big data systems - Minimum 2+ years in Azure cloud and Databricks setup - 4+ years of experience in Spark framework-based data pipeline development - 6+ years of experience in any relational database (Oracle/Postgres) - 2+ years of experience in any NoSQL databases (Cassandra/MongoDB/DynamoDB) - Strong exposure to system design - 6+ years of experience in application analysis - 6+ years of experience in various cloud services (AWS, Azure, GCP) - Experience with Distributed Technologies like Kafka, Spark, Zookeeper - Proficiency in testing frameworks to design and integrate quality tests during development - Knowledge of CI/CD Pipelines built with GitHub, Maven, Jenkins, etc. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills - Experience in leading and mentoring team members - Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent - Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git (Gitlab) - Exposure to the retail industry and experience with e-commerce applications 7-Eleven Global Solution Center is an Equal Opportunity Employer committed to workplace diversity.
