The role involves preparing structural 3D BIM (Revit) models and extracting 2D drawings as needed for concrete and steel structures in various industrial settings such as chemical plants, specialty chemical plants, FMCG industries, and heavy engineering industries. You will be responsible for creating General Arrangement and detailed drawings for plant buildings, pipe racks, platforms, tank farms, liquid retaining structures, and other relevant structures. Additionally, you will work on model building and drawings of building services elements. Your tasks will include drawing development, plan development, detail creation, checking processes, self-checking, issuing drawings to both internal and external clients, and managing electronic information. You will also play a crucial role in ensuring the quality issue of GFC drawings and specifications. Coordination with other disciplines like Architecture, MEP (Electrical, Plumbing, HVAC, BMS) will be essential to deliver the projects within the assigned time limits. To be successful in this position, you should have a Diploma or graduation in Civil/Structural Engineering and possess detail design experience for industrial structures. Proficiency in BIM software, particularly Revit and AutoCAD, is required. You will also be involved in assisting with modeling and extraction of BOQs.
