What we’re looking for A Feed Hacker . Not a social media manager. Not a brand strategist. The next generation spends more time on social media than on TV or any other media. E.g., Apple leans harder into giving away iPhone 17 to Dualipa than ads on late night talk shows! The next generation trusts authenticity more than manicured profiles that no one visits. E.g., Parents trust blippy and Ms. Rachel over 100 year old brands with polished posts. Attention is the most precious commodity, and the feed algorithm decides whether you get that attention. E.g., 12 out of 15 last posts of Duolingo have <200k views whereas the hit reel has 3M views! 500M likes vs. 16M subscribers!! We are looking for someone who is a social media addict AND someone who wants to leverage that addiction and sharp eye to garner the attention of the next generation (and their parents). Lives where the feed lives: fluent in social scroll culture, not just a visitor. Understands why some content works and why others flop and can apply that insight to new ideas. Can take a raw idea and turn it into a piece of live content, scripting, editing, and publishing aren’t foreign to you. Operates at the intersection of Content + Growth : creates content that feels alive in culture while understanding their measurable results AI tools + human creativity : you know when to move fast with automation and when to double down on your own creative instincts. Have a strong set of values and guiding principles so you use the power of tech for good Formal experience isn’t required, and neither is big fan following. Proof that you’ve a great eye for social is. More like the producer or director of a show, and not necessarily an actor/ influencer. Of course, there are rare gems who play two or more of those roles! We are more keen on the director/ producer elements for this role at this time. What you’ll do Lead all production of content for organic and paid channels, taking raw ideas into finished creatives Edit short video (Reels/TikTok) using native tools (cuts, text, timing) as well as external/AI tools (CapCut, Premiere, Final Cut, auto-captioning, or creative AI assistants). Source and work with other creators and/or influencers to bring your ideas to life. Build Modak’s online voice and personality and bring it into the feed of parents and teens. About the Role As a Customer Success Specialist, you’ll be on the frontlines of our support experience helping users through our social media channels and Customer Support chat. This role calls for strong multitasking abilities and the agility to navigate multiple platforms efficiently to solve problems in real time. You’ll also play a key role as the voice of the user , collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Product, Data, Engineering, and Operations to improve our product and overall user experience. As part of an early-stage startup, your responsibilities will evolve as we grow. You’ll have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience across different areas, helping you discover and develop your strengths. Beyond user interactions, you’ll contribute to our fraud prevention efforts monitoring transactions, supporting dispute resolution, and assisting with initiatives that ensure a safe and seamless experience for our users. What You’ll Be Doing Respond to users via social media and live chat with empathy, clarity, and speed Troubleshoot issues across multiple platforms simultaneously Monitor transactions to detect suspicious or unusual activity Assist in resolving chargebacks and disputes Collaborate with internal teams on fraud prevention strategies Debugging: Assist our product team in identifying and resolving bugs through submitting bug tickets.
