Position : Head Central Quality Assurance Academic Background : Post Graduate Dairy Technologist/ Food Technologist Experience :15 years in Food Industry Compensation: As per Industry Standard Location: Kolkata with travel to more than 10 locations across Gujarat & MP Job Description: 1. Leading and Management of Complete Quality Function which includes Smooth Functioning of all laboratories, Guidance to team, Monitoring and Evaluating product quality results, setting goals and targets. 2. Having the experience of handling of mid-size team which consists minimum 25 executives/ officers. 3. Preparation of specifications of Raw Materials, Work in-progress, Final Product & Packaging Materials of all products. 4. Should have thorough knowledge of RTE products, Dairy products, Sweets, Savouries, Ice Creams, Pulses & Spices and respective Regulations & Compliances thereof. 5. Total Product Management (on-line monitoring), generation of reports and effective handling of Consumer Complaints. 6. Ample knowledge of ISO 22000/ FSSC 22000, GMP, FSSAI & Exports requirements. 7. Conduct all sorts of Internal as well as External Audits of Manufacturing Facilities & Service Providers on several quality aspects to ensure an overall Quality Management. 8. Design an internal controls & quality audit checks as well as process modifications for various operations to optimize resource utilization and enhance efficiency. 9. Plan and implement effective preventive & corrective action to eliminate causes that hinders operational effectiveness. Surprise visits to own & 3-P facilities to check the ground reality. Visit to each location once/ twice in a month.10. Proactively identify and rectify problem areas to ensure uninterrupted operations. 11. Develop, manage and monitor the performance of multi-skilled work force and conceptualize need-based training programs. 12. Handle all sorts of 3-P Audits as required by the organization from time to time. 13. Co-ordinate with R&D & Production for developmental works on and specification comparison reports pertaining to Sensory Evaluation. 14. Coordinate with Procurement division on specification and testing feedback on any new RM and PM. 15. Ensure the physical, chemical, micro & macro analysis of the newly developed products focusing on internal requirements and requisite statutory and regulatory guidelines. 16. Generate specifications for the newly developed products based on the physical, chemical, micro & macro analysis reports. 17. Evaluate the quality compliance of all manufacturing units and randomly audit the quality performance of various units and report to the Top Management for a bird view.
