Job Description

As a Test Delivery Engineer, you will be responsible for the effective delivery of testing activities within the Engineering Squad. You will play a key role in stakeholder communication by actively participating in show & tell sessions to ensure clear and effective communication with all relevant parties. Your contribution to test automation will be crucial, with a focus on best practices, scripting, and execution. In cases where manual testing is required, you will be responsible for script creation and execution. Your scope of work will cover all levels of testing, including front end, back end, API/integration, and regression testing. In addition to testing activities, you will be involved in defect management by detecting, reporting, and tracking defects and inconsistencies. Collaboration with the team is essential to support estimation and other necessary activities. Your ability to work collaboratively with Software & Quality Engineers will drive continuous improvement through retrospectives and feedback sessions. You will serve as a quality advocate throughout the software development lifecycle and build strong relationships with business stakeholders to understand the priority and criticality of test coverage. Your skills in requirement breakdown will be put to use in determining the necessary testing types, while your understanding of the automation lifecycle will ensure the application of best practices across various testing levels. Troubleshooting and problem-solving in a testing environment will also be part of your responsibilities. To be successful in this role, you should have a minimum of 3+ years of proven experience as an iOS QA Engineer. Experience in debugging REST and GraphQL using proxy tools, hands-on experience with test management tools and defect tracking systems, and a solid understanding of Quality Assurance within Agile methodologies are required. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and leadership abilities are essential, along with the capability to collaborate with cross-functional teams. Your innovative ideas in the mobile apps division will positively impact the QA process, and experience in cross-platform testing of both Android and iOS native apps will be advantageous.,
