Mobile Test Engineer

Strong understanding of mobile application architecture and testing methodologies.

Familiarity with API, DB, cross platform testing.

Experience with continuous integration and delivery pipelines. Knowledge of mobile testing frameworks like Selenium WebDriver, Katalon Studio, etc.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Good communication and documentation skills.

Roles & Responsibilities

Test Planning and Execution:

Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on functional specifications.

Execute tests on both native and hybrid applications across various devices and operating systems.

Identify and document bugs, defects, and issues in a systematic manner.

Testing Methodologies:

Perform both manual and automated testing to ensure application quality.

Utilize different types of testing techniques including unit testing, integration testing, system testing, and user acceptance testing. Conduct regression testing to verify that changes do not negatively impact existing functionality.

Bug Tracking:

Log and track bugs using defect tracking tools such as JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.

Collaborate with development teams to prioritize and resolve issues efficiently.

Environment Setup:

Set up and configure testing environments to simulate real-world scenarios.

Manage device pools and ensure compatibility across different devices and versions.

Performance Testing:

Conduct load testing and stress testing to evaluate application performance under varying conditions.

Analyze results and recommend improvements to enhance performance.

Security Testing:

Perform security assessments to identify vulnerabilities in the application. Implement measures to mitigate identified risks.

Documentation:

Document testing processes, procedures, and results. Prepare reports and presentations to communicate findings and recommendations. Continuous Improvement: Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in mobile testing.

Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
