A Mobile Crane Operator operates mobile cranes to lift and move heavy materials on construction sites and in other industrial settings. Key responsibilities include performing pre-operation safety checks, setting up the crane and assessing ground conditions, safely operating the controls using levers and pedals, communicating with ground crews via hand signals, following load charts to prevent overloads, conducting routine maintenance, and keeping detailed records of operations and inspections.
