Mobile Application Developer

About the Role

We are looking for a Mobile Application Developer who can develop, maintain and enhance user-friendly mobile applications for Android and iOS platforms. The ideal candidate should have practical experience building mobile applications, integrating backend APIs, managing application performance and delivering smooth user experiences.

You will work closely with backend developers, UI/UX designers and product teams to translate product requirements and design concepts into functional mobile applications.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain mobile applications for Android and iOS platforms.
• Build responsive, user-friendly and high-performing mobile interfaces.
• Integrate REST APIs and backend services into mobile applications.
• Implement authentication, notifications, location services and other application features.
• Work with local databases, cloud services and application data management.
• Identify and fix bugs, performance issues and application crashes.
• Ensure application compatibility across different devices and screen sizes.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement designs accurately.
• Perform application testing, debugging and optimisation.
• Manage application releases, updates and deployments through Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
• Follow coding standards and maintain clean, reusable and scalable code.

Required Skills and Experience

• 2–5 years of hands-on experience in mobile application development.
• Strong experience with at least one mobile development technology:
• Flutter and Dart
• React Native and JavaScript/TypeScript
• Native Android (Kotlin/Java)
• Native iOS (Swift)
• Experience integrating REST APIs and third-party services.
• Understanding of mobile application architecture, state management and debugging.
• Knowledge of local storage, push notifications and authentication.
• Familiarity with Git, application testing and deployment processes.
• Understanding of Android and iOS development guidelines.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
