As a selected intern, your day-to-day responsibilities will include collaborating with the product and design teams to develop the SpEdJunior app using technologies such as Flutter, React Native, or native Android/iOS. You will be translating UI/UX wireframes into smooth, functional, and responsive app screens. Additionally, you will integrate backend APIs, test app functionality, and debug performance issues. It will be essential for you to participate in regular team meetings to provide updates, brainstorm UI/UX enhancements, and ensure user accessibility, especially for young children and educators. Furthermore, you will be assisting in publishing the app on Google Play Store and Apple App Store, ensuring compliance with platform guidelines. About the Company: SpEd@home is a result of over two decades of field experience of the founding team. The company identified the need to ensure better access to integrated therapies required for children with special needs. The aspiration is to provide remedial and occupational therapy support to children with differential needs globally. Established in September 2020, the company aims to build an ecosystem for children with differential needs to improve their physical, cognitive, developmental, and educational outcomes. SpEd@home has created a learning management system (LMS) curated specifically to meet the requirements of children aged 6-13 with differential needs, such as those with learning disabilities, ADD/HD, and autism spectrum disorders.
