Role & responsibilities Serve as a key individual contributor responsible for designing and developing industry-standard automation tools, build flows, and methodologies for the Architecture Validation team. Collaborate with a team of highly skilled engineers, driving innovation and excellence in technical areas. Maintain strong, consistent communication regarding project deliverables and risks, ensuring all engineering commitments are met successfully. Promote and implement efficient development workflows and best practices to drive productivity improvements. Qualifications & Experience Bachelors degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or a related field. Candidates with relevant experience may also be considered. Minimum of 1 year of engineering experience focused on automation tools, flow development, or design automation. Demonstrated experience in leading or owning methodology, automation, or build flow initiatives. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging abilities. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with strong interpersonal abilities. Self-driven and proactive, with a strong sense of ownership and a willingness to take on additional responsibilities to support team goals. Preferred Skills & Experience Experience in developing and managing regression systems and build flows. Proficiency in Unix/Linux environments and shell scripting (bash, tcsh). Solid programming background, with expertise in at least one compiled language (e.g., C or C++) and one scripting language (e.g., Python or Perl). Familiarity with version control systems like Git and continuous integration tools such as Jenkins or Bamboo. Understanding of software or hardware verification environments, especially GNU toolchains. Knowledge of QA best practices, including test planning, test case development, unit testing, and performance measurement.
