As an ideal candidate for this position, you should demonstrate a strong understanding of chemical and mechanical properties, along with a proficient knowledge of MPI inspection. Your expertise in assessing the dimension report of the first piece and providing written approval for mass production is crucial for ensuring product quality. Furthermore, your responsibilities will include conducting in-process inspections of dimensions during production to maintain quality standards. Familiarity with the sampling plan outlined in IS 2500-1-2000 to verify dimensions and other specifications during PDI is essential. In addition, you will be required to perform random sampling during packing to validate dimensions and visually inspect product specifications within a specified time frame of 2-3 hours. Any parts that do not meet the quality standards during inspection will be transferred to the N.C area for further analysis. Collaboration with the Production and Quality team to conduct daily N.C analysis is a key aspect of this role. You will be involved in the decision-making process to determine which parts are repairable and which are not. Non-repairable parts will be segregated and secured in the red bin for proper handling. A solid understanding of ISO-9001-2015 standards and their associated documentation is necessary to ensure compliance with quality management systems.
