ML Engineer - Predictive Maintenance

As a ML Engineer at DSP specializing in Predictive Maintenance at Vanderlande in Veghel, you will be part of the Digital Service Platform team contributing to the development of data-driven services and solutions. Vanderlande, a leading provider of baggage handling systems for airports and parcel handling systems, deals with massive amounts of data on a daily basis. Your role will involve collaborating with a diverse team to optimize customer asset usage and maintenance, thereby impacting performance, cost, and sustainability KPIs by extending component lifetimes. In this position, you will work closely with Data Scientists, Machine Learning Engineers, Data Engineers, and other professionals to design and implement data and machine learning pipelines for Predictive Maintenance solutions. Your responsibilities will include developing, testing, and documenting data pipelines, building scalable pipelines for machine learning models, integrating machine learning models into production pipelines, and continuously improving data and ML services for customer sites. To qualify for this role, you should have a minimum of 4 years" experience in building complex data pipelines and integrating machine learning solutions, along with a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, IT, Data Science, or a related field. Proficiency in Java, Scala, and Python, as well as experience with stream processing frameworks like Spark and cloud platforms like Azure and Databricks, are required. Additionally, familiarity with MLOps practices, ML frameworks such as TensorFlow and PyTorch, and data quality management is essential.
