Plant Operations Manager Location: Bapi Industrial Area, Rajasthan, India Job Profile : We are seeking a highly motivated, experienced, and detail-oriented Plant Operations Manager to oversee and coordinate all daily operational activities at our Bapi Industrial Area facility. The ideal candidate is a proactive Engineer with a minimum of five years of relevant experience who can seamlessly manage both direct and indirect plant functions, ensuring maximum efficiency, quality, and a safe working environment. Experience in the metals and mining sector is a significant plus. This role is pivotal in bridging communication between on-the-ground teams and leadership, and requires a commitment to maintaining healthy relationships while leaving no scope for error. Key Responsibilities: Operational Management and Coordination : Maintenance Oversight: Direct and manage all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance activities for plant machinery, equipment, and infrastructure to minimize downtime and ensure operational readiness. Production Support: Coordinate operations activities to provide seamless, timely support to the production and quality teams, ensuring all resources are allocated efficiently to meet output targets and quality standards. Inventory and Logistics: Oversee the indirect activities related to materials management, inventory control, and plant logistics to ensure the continuous flow of operations. Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE): Ensure strict adherence to all company and statutory HSE regulations and protocols. Promote a culture of safety across all plant operations. Leadership, Communication, and Strategy ,Internal Coordination: Serve as the primary operational liaison, effectively coordinating day-to-day activities and sharing information among all plant teams, including production, quality, maintenance, and logistics. Leadership Communication: Act as the key communicator with senior leadership, accurately and promptly fulfilling all requests, reporting on plant performance, and providing strategic input on operational improvements. Relationship Management: Foster and maintain strong, professional, and collaborative relationships with all stakeholders plant employees, managers, and corporate leadership. Process Excellence: Continuously review and refine operational procedures and processes with the goal of eliminating errors, improving efficiency, and reducing operational costs. Required Qualifications: Education: Must possess a degree in Engineering (e.g., Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or Production). Experience: A minimum of 5 years of progressive working experience in a manufacturing or industrial plant environment, with a strong focus on operations and maintenance. Industry Focus : Prior experience in the metals and mining industry is highly desirable and will be considered a significant advantage. Technical Knowledge: Proven knowledge of plant maintenance cycles, operational workflows, and best practices in supporting high-volume production and quality assurance.
