We have an extraordinary talent base and invite you to consider joining MissionSquare. $145,550.00 - $225,610.00 The Director, Practice Management is responsible for designing and executing strategies that enhance the productivity, growth, and operational excellence of affiliated financial advisors. This leader serves as a strategic partner to advisors, helping them optimize their business models, improve client engagement, and scale effectively. The role bridges advisor coaching, business consulting, product and sales knowledge expansion and operational innovation. Essential Functions For This Role Include Develop and implement scalable practice management programs tailored to advisor needs Provide one-on-one consulting to top-performing advisors on business planning, client segmentation, team structure, and succession planning Lead workshops, webinars, and training sessions on best practices in product and advisor growth Collaborate with operations, compliance, and technology teams to streamline advisor workflows Identify and deploy tools that improve advisor efficiency (CRM, financial planning software, reporting platforms) Monitor KPIs across advisor practices and recommend performance-enhancing strategies Support onboarding and transition of new advisors, ensuring a smooth integration into the firm’s ecosystem Partner with marketing and business development teams to help advisors grow their client base Lead initiatives around succession planning, mergers & acquisitions, and continuity strategies Potentially manage a team of practice management consultants or business coaches Serve as a liaison between advisors and internal departments to ensure alignment and responsiveness Stay current on industry trends, regulatory changes, and competitive benchmarks If you have the following credentials, we encourage you to apply: BA or advanced degree in finance, business, or organizational leadership or extensive, proven business experience 8–12 years in financial services, preferably within a broker/dealer or RIA environment Experience managing software vendors relationships Experience managing software solutions facilitating advisory product management and advisory product billing within a broker/dealer or RIA Proficiency in CRM systems, portfolio management tools, and financial planning software Proven track record in advisor coaching, business consulting, or practice management Familiarity with custodial platforms, compliance frameworks, and wealth management technologies Strategic thinking with strong business acumen Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills Ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and manage change Deep understanding of advisor business models and client service dynamics Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills in an in-person and virtual environment Ability to work within a team and across organization to build solutions to meet aggressive growth targets Series 7 required 63, 65 or 66 and 24 or ability to acquire within 6 months To benefit your career and support your wellbeing, we offer: Competitive Total Rewards package, including base pay, incentive programs, benefits, and a 401(k) plan with matching contributions Flexible and hybrid work schedules to support work-life balance Tuition reimbursement to support continued education Professional and career development opportunities, including courses and certifications Comprehensive wellness programs promoting physical, mental, and emotional health Volunteerism initiatives to encourage community engagement Click Here To Learn More About MissionSquare’s Benefits.
