Job Title: PPC Executive – Corrugated Box Industry Department: Production / Operations Reports To: Plant Manager / Production Head / Operations Head Job Purpose: To ensure effective planning, scheduling, monitoring, and control of production activities in the corrugation plant. The PPC Executive will coordinate between sales, design, purchase, and production teams to meet customer requirements in terms of quality, quantity, and timely delivery. Key Responsibilities: Production Planning & Scheduling Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on sales orders and forecasts. Ensure optimum utilization of machines (corrugators, printers, slotters, die-cutters, stitching machines, etc.). Allocate resources (material, manpower, and machine time) efficiently. Order Management Review customer orders, specifications, and timelines. Coordinate with sales and design teams to finalize production feasibility. Release production plans and work orders accordingly. Inventory & Material Management Plan and monitor raw material (kraft paper, inks, adhesives, stitching wire, etc.) requirements. Ensure minimum inventory stock-outs and avoid excess wastage. Coordinate with purchase and stores for timely material availability. Monitoring & Control Track production progress against plan and take corrective action in case of delays. Maintain records of production data, downtime, wastage, and efficiency. Coordinate with maintenance for preventive and breakdown maintenance planning. Quality & Compliance Ensure production is as per quality standards and customer specifications. Work closely with QA team to reduce rejection and wastage levels. Ensure compliance with company policies, safety, and industry standards. Coordination & Reporting Act as a link between Sales, Design, Purchase, and Production teams. Prepare daily/weekly/monthly MIS reports on production, efficiency, and order status. Support management in decision-making with accurate data and analysis. Key Skills & Competencies: Strong knowledge of corrugated box manufacturing processes. Proficiency in production planning tools, ERP/MRP systems. Analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication and coordination skills. Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple orders. Knowledge of inventory control and lean manufacturing practices is preferred. Qualification & Experience: Graduate/Diploma in Mechanical/Industrial/Production Engineering or related field. 2–5 years of experience in Production Planning & Control, preferably in corrugated box/packaging industry. Knowledge of corrugator machines and printing processes will be an added advantage. Ensure availability of raw materials, consumables, and engineering spares required for uninterrupted production of corrugated boxes. Key Responsibilities:1. Store Management Manage overall operations of the stores including inward, storage, issue, and record maintenance of all items.
