Key Responsibilities: Setup and Calibration: Setting up and calibrating milling machines (both CNC and conventional) to precise specifications for various materials. Operation: Operating milling machines to cut, shape, and finish metal or plastic parts according to blueprints, work orders, and production schedules. Monitoring and Adjustments: Monitoring machining operations, detecting malfunctions, and making adjustments to machine settings to optimize production and maintain quality. Quality Control: Inspecting finished products for accuracy and quality using precision measuring tools. Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Performing routine maintenance on milling machines and troubleshooting minor issues. Safety Compliance: Adhering to all safety protocols and procedures while operating the machinery. Documentation: Maintaining records of production processes, troubleshooting steps, and machine maintenance. Blueprint Reading: Interpreting blueprints, technical drawings, and work orders to understand machining requirements. Tool Selection: Selecting the appropriate cutting tools and other equipment for each task.
