Job Title: Milling Machine Operator Location: Ambattur, Chennai Experience: 1 to 5 Years Salary: ₹25,000 per month Employment Type: Full-time Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Milling Machine Operator to join our precision engineering team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in operating conventional or CNC milling machines for metal component production. Key Responsibilities: Operate milling machines to produce components as per drawings and specifications Set up tools, fixtures, and workpieces on the milling machine Read and interpret engineering drawings and machining instructions Measure finished parts using measuring tools (e.g., Vernier calipers, micrometers) Perform routine maintenance on machines and ensure cleanliness of the work area Adjust machine settings to optimize output and minimize downtime Maintain quality and accuracy standards throughout production Report any equipment malfunctions or material issues to the supervisor Candidate Requirements: ITI/Diploma in Mechanical or Fitter/Machinist Trade 1 to 5 years of experience in milling machine operation (manual or CNC) Ability to read and understand technical drawings Familiarity with measurement tools and quality control processes Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious attitude Willingness to work in a production environment and meet daily targets Job Type: Full-time Pay: ₹19,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month Schedule: Rotational shift Work Location: In person
