As a Mechanical Engineer in the Research and Development department, you will be utilizing your 8 years of experience and expertise in fans and vacuum pumps. Your core competency in Vacuum Pumps and Fans will be a top priority in this role. Key Responsibilities: - Conducting product design and assessing manufacturing feasibility using sheet metal, plastics, die cast, and welding materials. - Demonstrating knowledge of various types of materials and material selection approaches. - Performing vehicle integration, testing, and validation processes. - Utilizing CAD and Modelling skills for 3D part modeling & assembly, 2D drawings, digital mock-ups, and CAD data management. - Conducting analysis & verification through GD&T, stack-up analysis, design verification and calculation (DVP&R), and root cause analysis. - Handling documentation tasks including BOM, DFMEA, design review, and ECN. - Proficient in tools such as AutoCAD, Creo, PTC, and Windchill PLM. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field. - Minimum of 6 years of experience in mechanical engineering. - Proficiency in AutoCAD, Creo, PTC, and Windchill PLM. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
