We are seeking an experienced Site Incharge / Supervisor – Rubber Lining to oversee the application of rubber lining on industrial equipment. The position requires managing projects both in India and overseas , so candidates must be flexible and willing to travel for site assignments as needed. This role is ideal for experienced candidates with a diploma in mechanical engineering or fresh BE mechanical graduates looking to expand their careers in industrial surface protection and coating. Key Responsibilities: Project Management: Supervise rubber lining application processes, ensuring they meet project specifications, timelines, and quality standards. Coordinate resources, equipment, and workforce to ensure smooth project execution. Surface Preparation: Oversee cleaning, priming, and preparation of equipment surfaces before applying rubber lining. Rubber Lining Application: Supervise the rubber lining process, ensuring proper technique, thickness, and curing. Perform on-site inspections to ensure quality and compliance with industry standards. Safety and Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and regulations for rubber lining processes, including PPE use, chemical handling, and equipment safety. Ensure the team follows environmental and safety guidelines. Team Leadership: Lead and guide a team of technicians, assigning tasks and ensuring quality work. Provide on-the-job training for junior team members, especially for fresh candidates. Quality Assurance: Conduct inspections and tests (e.g., adhesion, spark testing) to ensure rubber lining quality. Maintain records of all quality control checks and inspections. Client & Stakeholder Communication: Act as the primary point of contact between the project team and clients. Provide progress updates and address any client concerns. Reporting & Documentation: Maintain accurate project records, including materials used, hours worked, inspection results, and any incidents or delays. Prepare regular progress reports for management. Troubleshooting: Identify and resolve any issues that arise during the lining process, ensuring minimal impact on project timelines. Preferred Skills: For Experienced Candidates (Diploma in Mechanical Engineering): Experience: Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in rubber lining or surface protection industries (e.g., petrochemical, mining, chemical). Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of rubber lining techniques, material properties, surface preparation, and curing processes. Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage a team, coordinate work on-site, and ensure project completion on time. For Fresh BE Mechanical Graduates : Education: Bachelor’s degree (BE) in Mechanical Engineering. Knowledge: Basic understanding of mechanical systems, surface protection techniques, and industrial coatings. Willingness to Learn: Eager to apply theoretical knowledge in a practical setting and grow in the rubber lining field. Preferred Skills: Quality Control: Experience with quality control methods (adhesion tests, spark tests, thickness checks) is a plus for experienced candidates. Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with team members and clients. Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills and ability to troubleshoot issues that arise on-site. Technical Tools: Familiarity with tools used in rubber lining.
