Role - AWS DB Migration Engineer

Experience - 5-15 years

JD :

AWS DB Migration Engineer

Position Overview:

The candidate should be skilled Cloud Engineer with expertise in AWS Cloud migration, AWS Database Migration Service (DMS), and strong experience in Oracle and SQL Server database administration. The ideal candidate will lead the migration of on-premises databases to AWS, optimize cloud infrastructure, and ensure seamless transitions.

Required Skills

3+ years of AWS cloud experience.
Proficiency in Oracle and SQL Server DBA tasks.
Strong knowledge of database architecture and automation tools.
AWS certification preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

Plan and execute migrations of Oracle and SQL Server databases to AWS RDS.
Utilize AWS DMS for large-scale data migrations.
Design and implement database migrations with minimal downtime and data integrity checks.
Perform database performance tuning, backups, and recovery.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve migration issues.
