The Quality Checker will be responsible for conducting In-Line, Mid-Line & Final Inspections in the E-Commerce Furniture industry. You will be required to follow up on purchase orders and ensure the quality check/review of wood and furniture products. Your role will involve planning and tracking all inspections at vendor factories, as well as rejecting any products or materials that do not meet quality standards. In this position, you will need to negotiate terms with suppliers regarding price, quality of goods, deadlines, and expectations. You will also be expected to read blueprints, plans, and specifications to understand product requirements, as well as measure products using various tools such as rulers, calipers, gauges, or micrometers. Documenting inspection outcomes by preparing detailed reports and performance records is a key aspect of the role. Additionally, you will be responsible for resolving quality-related issues promptly and developing positive long-term relationships with key suppliers while driving ongoing process improvements.
