The Product Design Engineer will be responsible for creating and developing designs for automotive interiors, working closely with the product development team. Daily tasks include utilizing Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software, ensuring designs meet mechanical engineering standards, and participating in the entire product development cycle from initial concept to final production. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure design feasibility, manufacturability, and compliance with industry standards is also required. Qualifications Generate design concepts and produce conforming designs, parameters, and calculations (provided by a project engineer or lead engineer). Develop feasible designs, considering available manufacturing processes. Perform engineering calculations for mass, strength, and mechanical performance. Prepare and maintain engineering release and change documents Responsible for detail product design according to standards and guidelines. Translate defined product design performance criteria in CAD data & specifications. For his perimeter, define technical solutions and CAD data (2D & 3D) using standard CAD methodology. RPS, Concept design, • Ensure process feasibility of the product design and A-Surfaces Good understanding of plastic design principles, including kinematics and clash analysis. Flexible to work at client location Ensure on time delivery for a given part model meeting all requirements in terms of CAD methodology, Part design principle as per MG Techworks Guidelines, Tooling feasibility etc Ensure good communication within the extended technical team

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site position located in Pune ( Pimpri - Chinchwad) for a Lead Product Design Engineer specializing in Automotive Interior. The responsibilities include overseeing all aspects of product design for automotive interior components, ensuring alignment with both aesthetic and functional requirements. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, creating detailed designs using CAD software, overseeing product development cycles, and performing tolerance analyses. The Lead Engineer will play a key role in driving design innovation while addressing manufacturability and compliance considerations. Qualifications Strong expertise in Design Engineering and Product Design, with an emphasis on automotive interior components Proficiency in Mechanical Engineering principles, including material selection and structural analysis Hands-on experience with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools for creating detailed and precise designs Proven ability in Product Development, including prototyping, testing, and refining products to meet performance and quality standards Strong problem-solving abilities and the capability to work effectively within a collaborative, cross-disciplinary team Master’s or bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Product Design, or a related field Experience with 3D Tolerance Stack-up Analysis and manufacturability considerations is a plus Knowledge of automotive industry standards and regulations is advantageous Good Communication Skills
