Job Title : Metallurgist – Foundry (Aluminum & Zinc Sacrificial Anodes) Location : [Your City], Maharashtra Company : Arico Marine Pvt. Ltd. Job Type : Full-Time Experience : 2–7 years Salary : ₹[Range] per month (based on experience) About Us Arico Marine is expanding into manufacturing sacrificial anodes (Al & Zn) for marine and industrial corrosion protection. We're building a high-quality foundry and looking for a hands-on, quality-focused metallurgist to lead alloy formulation, testing, and process control. Responsibilities : Develop and control aluminum and zinc-based alloys as per international standards (e.g., DNV-RP-B401, MIL-A-18001, NACE SP0387) Supervise casting operations and monitor furnace parameters (200 kg crucible capacity) Perform chemical composition analysis using spectrometer or wet lab methods Maintain records of alloy batches, quality checks, and test results Assist in mold design, defect analysis, and improving metallurgical quality Coordinate with quality and production teams for process improvements Handle customer specifications and third-party inspections, when needed Requirements : B.E./B.Tech or Diploma in Metallurgy or Materials Engineering 2+ years in non-ferrous foundry operations (preferred) Experience with aluminum and/or zinc alloys (marine background a plus) Familiarity with crucible melting, pouring techniques, and quality standards Basic knowledge of corrosion protection (anodes/CP) is an added advantage What We Offer : Opportunity to lead metallurgical operations in a new foundry setup Exposure to international marine and offshore industry standards Fast-paced growth in a niche, in-demand manufacturing field Supportive team and scope to innovate in alloy development Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: From ₹20,264.74 per month Benefits: Paid sick time Paid time off Schedule: Day shift Supplemental Pay: Overtime pay Yearly bonus Work Location: In person
