MERN Stack + Web3 Developer

You are a MERN Stack Developer with experience in Web3 development, and you are excited to join our team. You should feel comfortable building full-stack applications, integrating smart contracts, and thrive in a fast-paced startup environment. Your responsibilities will include developing and maintaining full-stack applications using MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js. You will also be integrating smart contracts and blockchain functionality using Web3.js, Ethers.js, or similar libraries. Collaborating with product managers, designers, and blockchain engineers will be essential. Writing clean, maintainable, and testable code, as well as troubleshooting and debugging applications, are key aspects of your role. Staying updated with the latest Web3 trends and technologies is also crucial. To excel in this role, you should have at least 1 year of hands-on experience with the MERN stack. You need to possess basic to intermediate knowledge of smart contracts, Ethereum, and Web3.js/Ethers.js. Familiarity with Solidity and Ethereum development tools such as Truffle and Hardhat is preferred. An understanding of REST APIs and integration practices is necessary. Strong problem-solving skills, a proactive attitude, and good communication and collaboration skills are essential. Bonus skills that would be advantageous include experience with IPFS, The Graph, or Layer 2 solutions, contributions to open-source Web3 projects, and knowledge of NFT standards or DeFi protocols.
