MERN Stack Developer (Backend & Web)

Job Description

Location: Kolkata(New Town) | Type: Full-Time, In-Office We are hiring a MERN Stack Developer to lead our backend and web development. You'll be responsible for building robust APIs, managing the database, and enabling real-time features that integrate seamlessly with our Flutter mobile apps . Youll work closely with the mobile app team to ensure smooth communication between frontend and backend, while owning deployment, API performance, and data integrity. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain server-side logic using Node.js and Express.js . Build and manage RESTful APIs consumed by mobile and web apps. Handle database architecture and operations with MongoDB . Build responsive web interfaces using React.js . Implement real-time features using Socket.io and WebRTC . Integrate Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM) for backend-triggered notifications. Ensure API security, scalability, and documentation. Collaborate closely with the Flutter developer for API integration and testing. Requirements: Solid experience with MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, Node.js . Strong skills in REST API development and backend architecture. Familiarity with real-time technologies (Socket.io, WebRTC). Understanding of how mobile apps consume APIs. Experience with Git , and code documentation. Comfortable working in a collaborative, cross-functional team. Good to Have: Experience with cloud deployment (AWS, Heroku, etc.).
