Description
As a MERN Architect, your role involves designing scalable and secure architectures for MERN stack applications. You will define and implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices while driving observability initiatives such as logging, monitoring, tracing, and alerting. It is crucial to architect solutions leveraging AWS cloud services like ECS/EKS, RDS, DocumentDB, and S3. Collaboration with product and engineering teams is essential to translate business needs into technical designs. Ensuring database optimization and scalability with both MongoDB and PostgreSQL is a key responsibility. Additionally, you will provide technical leadership, conduct code reviews, and offer mentorship to developers. Defining best practices for coding, testing, deployments, and system performance will be part of your day-to-day tasks. Key Responsibilities: - Design scalable and secure architectures for MERN stack applications - Define and implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices - Drive observability initiatives (logging, monitoring, tracing, alerting) - Architect solutions leveraging AWS cloud services (ECS/EKS, RDS, DocumentDB, S3, etc.) - Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate business needs into technical designs - Ensure database optimization and scalability with both MongoDB and PostgreSQL - Provide technical leadership, code reviews, and mentorship to developers - Define best practices for coding, testing, deployments, and system performance Qualifications Required: - Strong expertise in Node.js, MongoDB, PostgreSQL - Deep understanding of Linux environments and system-level debugging - Proven experience architecting solutions on AWS Cloud - Knowledge of observability tools and practices (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, ELK, OpenTelemetry) - Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipeline creation and automation (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.) - Strong understanding of microservices and service-based architecture - Excellent analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills In this role, experience with Kubernetes, Docker, Terraform, or other Infrastructure as Code (IaC) is considered a good-to-have skill. Exposure to security best practices and compliance standards, along with strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills, would be beneficial for the position.,
