Job Description We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented HVAC & MEP Draftsman / Designer / Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in HVAC system design, MEP coordination, and CAD drafting. You will be responsible for creating precise layouts, performing load calculations, and collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution. Key Responsibilities Perform heating and cooling load calculations as per ISHRAE standards. Design HVAC ducting layouts for commercial buildings, including common areas and toilets (fresh air + exhaust). Select HVAC equipment (AC units, fresh air, and exhaust fans) based on calculated loads. Carry out VRV/VRF copper pipe and Refnet sizing per Daikin selection criteria. Develop drain layouts and BOQs for HVAC systems in shops, offices, and commercial spaces. Create 3D piping layouts for critical areas and generate measurement sheets for ducting and piping. Prepare elevation and sectional drawings for HVAC and MEP services in common areas. Coordinate with architects, consultants, project teams, and vendors to ensure design accuracy and timely implementation. Visit project sites for inspections, meetings, and on-site coordination. Assist with kitchen ventilation system design, treated fresh air unit (TFA) selection, and AHU kit specification per Daikin norms. Prepare documentation such as ODU ventilation system spreadsheets and maintain technical records. Qualifications Diploma or Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering preferred (other degrees accepted). Proficiency in AutoCAD and MEP drafting tools. Strong technical knowledge in HVAC system design and layout drafting. Hands-on experience in HVAC & MEP drafting and design.
